Montreal-based team behind an open-source .NET UI framework for building one app across Windows, WebAssembly, iOS, macOS, Android, Linux and embedded targets, plus cross-platform developer tooling.
Uno Platform is a Montreal-based team that develops an open-source .NET UI framework of the same name. The framework allows C# and XAML teams to share application logic and visual designs across Windows, WebAssembly, iOS, macOS, Android, Linux and embedded targets from a single codebase. The core platform is free under the Apache 2.0 licence; professionally supported tooling is offered alongside it.
A second product, Uno Platform Studio, adds developer tooling to the framework: Hot Reload, runtime visual design, Figma-related workflows, MCP integrations and AI-agent capabilities, working with Visual Studio, VS Code and Rider. The technical work spans cross-platform UI frameworks, .NET, WebAssembly, embedded systems, design tooling and IDE integration.
Named production customers include Kahua, Toyota, Air Canada and Cineplex, across the construction technology, automotive, aviation and cinema industries. Case studies of these deployments are published by the company.
The team is based in Montreal and the product is oriented towards an open-source and community-driven ecosystem, with an emphasis on developer control and cross-platform productivity.
