Rovex Technologies Corporation is a robotics and artificial intelligence company founded in 2024 and headquartered in Gainesville, Florida. It develops autonomous robotic systems and related software for healthcare environments, with the aim of streamlining hospital logistics and patient transport. The company was founded by David Crabb, M.D., an emergency physician, and its stated mission is to reduce the administrative and logistical burden on nurses and hospital staff so that they can return to bedside care.

Its principal product, Rovi, is described as the world's first in-hospital transport robot for autonomous patient transport. The device attaches to any stretcher and navigates hospital corridors using advanced computer vision, moving through elevators and doors and detecting obstacles across a full 360 degrees. It adapts in real time to equipment, spills and visitors. Before deployment, Rovi is pre-programmed through virtual simulation that maps corridors and models patient flow patterns.

Technical work at Rovex spans robotics, artificial intelligence, autonomous navigation, computer vision, virtual simulation, patient flow modelling and healthcare software. The team holds 42 patents and has developed two FDA-approved robotic devices. A pilot deployment is under way at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida, in partnership with the BayCare Health System in the Tampa Bay region.
