Ravelin Technology is a fraud prevention and payment optimization company founded in 2014. It operates an AI-native platform that applies machine learning, graph networks and human insights to detect fraud for online merchants before it occurs. Customers include Deliveroo, Just Eat, Trainline, Spotify and KFC, spanning sectors such as food delivery, marketplaces, rail ticketing, music streaming and quick-service restaurants.

The platform covers the customer journey in some depth: online payment fraud detection, account security and protection against account takeovers, refund abuse prevention and detection of fraud by marketplace partners. Its payment optimization work is aimed at helping businesses accept more payments while maintaining confidence in growth.

The company was founded by a team of five and now has staff spread across five continents, with offices in London. In February 2025 it joined Worldpay, with the stated aim of advancing a shared mission of eradicating fraud from the internet.
