Overjet

Overjet is a dental artificial intelligence company founded in 2018 and headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. It develops AI technology for dental providers, insurers and educators, applying computer vision, machine learning and voice recognition to clinical and administrative work in dentistry. The company was founded by experts from MIT and Harvard University.

Its flagship product, Vision AI, is an FDA-cleared platform that detects, outlines and quantifies oral diseases in dental X-rays with millimeter-level precision. The product line also includes IRIS, AI-native dental imaging software; a Voice AI Suite for clinical documentation; and an AI-powered insurance verification product for practices and payers.

The company says its technology is used by thousands of dentists across private practices and the largest dental support organizations in North America. On the payer side, Overjet works with insurers covering more than 120 million members, including the majority of the top ten U.S. dental insurers. Its technical work spans medical imaging analysis, speech recognition, clinical documentation automation and insurance claims automation.

Overjet has raised approximately $133 million in funding and was most recently valued at $550 million. It operates primarily in the United States and the wider North American market, serving the dental, dental insurance and dental education sectors.
