Dandy, founded in 2020, is building the first fully digital dental lab from the ground up. The company combines software, proprietary AI-powered scanning technology and advanced manufacturing into a single integrated system used by dentists across the United States. Its stated aim is to digitise dental practices' workflows end to end, within an industry it sizes at $400B.

Two products anchor the platform. Dandy Vision is a proprietary AI-powered intraoral scanner, trained on more than 10 million scans. Alongside it sits Dandy's digital dental lab, an integrated system spanning software, AI scanning and manufacturing. More than 2 million people now have a Dandy product in their mouths.

Technical work spans AI-powered scanning, intraoral scanning and computer vision, advanced manufacturing and dental lab technology. Engineering teams use TypeScript and React across full-stack development. Engineers ship products that directly affect patient outcomes and work in cross-functional teams alongside dental technicians and clinical experts, collaborating in real time.
