New Horizon Counseling Center (NHCC) is a non-profit behavioral health organization serving Queens, Brooklyn (Kings County), Nassau and Suffolk counties in New York. The organisation provides individual and group counselling, psychotherapy, mental health treatment, substance use recovery, developmental disability services, Health Home care management and crisis intervention support. It reports more than four decades of experience in the field.
NHCC holds three New York State licenses: from the Office of Mental Health (OMH) for comprehensive mental health treatment, the Office for Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) for addiction and substance use recovery programmes, and the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) for services for people with developmental disabilities. Clinical work spans one-to-one counselling and psychotherapy, delivered in a warm and serene setting, and group counselling run by an empathetic, caring team of professionals.
