N G Bailey

N G Bailey is the United Kingdom's largest independent engineering and infrastructure services provider, designing, powering, manufacturing, operating and maintaining buildings, infrastructure and services. Founded in 1921 as a small electrical contractor, the company is family owned and employs approximately 3,000 people across more than 30 sites in the UK.

The firm's work is organised across several divisions. Engineering delivers mechanical and electrical solutions; Freedom provides end-to-end Low Voltage, High Voltage and Extra High Voltage electrical infrastructure services; Digital Services covers IT infrastructure; and Low Carbon supports the transition to net zero. Offsite Manufacture operates dedicated facilities in Yorkshire, while Technical Facilities Services provides integrated building maintenance.

Projects span sectors including data centres, healthcare, defence, education, transport infrastructure, energy, nuclear, retail and leisure. The company states four core values: Passion, Integrity, Responsibility and Excellence, and describes its mission as creating exceptional environments for present and future generations. Independent ownership, it says, allows a long-term focus.
