MDC Homes is a locally owned and operated general contracting company specializing in quality custom home building in the greater Chattanooga, Tennessee area and North Georgia. The firm grew from a small residential construction business and operates as a small team, working across the region including Jasper Highlands, River Gorge Ranch, Lookout Mountain and surrounding communities. Its work spans residential construction, custom and semi-custom home building and general contracting.

The company operates what it describes as the first and only hybrid fixed-cost custom home building model in the Chattanooga area, a pricing structure intended to provide transparency without additional costs. Each project is supported by detailed 15–20 page specifications and comprehensive pricing discussions with the client. A second offering, MDC Designs – Home Collection, is a semi-custom home collection that combines elements of customisation with build efficiency.

MDC Homes states that it is founded on four core values: Communication, Integrity, Quality and Transparency. These are reflected in operating commitments such as a Communication Guarantee, under which clients receive weekly progress updates and the company commits to a $10,000 payout if an update is not sent.
