Mantic

Mantic is an AI research and product company that builds systems for predicting global events with superhuman accuracy, with the aim of improving decision-making in business and government. Its work centres on event forecasting in the fields of human affairs - geopolitics, business, policy, technology and culture - combining AI research, machine learning and the modelling of reasoning and judgement. The systems are designed to forecast like expert human forecasters, but at digital speed and scale.

The company's product is a set of event prediction AI systems intended for use across industries including geopolitics, business, policy, technology, culture and government. Mantic describes its mission as tackling what it calls the next AI grand challenge.

Mantic raised $4 million in pre-seed funding and emerged from stealth in September 2025. The round was led by Episode 1 with participation from DRW. The team includes backgrounds at Google DeepMind, Citadel, the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford and other leading AI institutions, and investors include researchers at Anthropic and Google DeepMind.
