iHealth and Wellness Foundation, Inc

iHealth and Wellness Foundation, Inc is a nonprofit organisation working to improve healthcare access and coordination for patients with complex diseases, including Neurofibromatosis and cancer. Its activities span education, patient resources, advocacy and technology platforms, with an emphasis on equity of access for underserved populations and on supporting healthier lifestyles.

The foundation's technical work covers EHR integration, social networking platforms, virtual telehealth and appointment technology, cross-platform application development and scheduling software. Products in its portfolio include medical and wellness social networking platforms that integrate major Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems; virtual appointment services intended to make care accessible irrespective of geography or financial status; patient advocacy services for people living with complex diseases; and outreach programmes aimed at underserved communities.

A cross-platform online medical and wellness care scheduling application is currently in development ahead of a proof-of-concept launch. The organisation is at an early-stage pre-money position and is preparing for that launch together with a seed raise.

Working at the foundation combines healthcare, nonprofit and patient advocacy missions with hands-on engineering in telehealth and wellness software.
