Genuine Parts Company is a global distributor of automotive and industrial replacement parts and value-added solutions, serving retail, commercial and industrial customers across North America, Europe and Australasia. Founded in 1928 as a single auto parts store in Atlanta, it is now a Fortune 500 company with combined turnover exceeding $15 billion and a record of 70 consecutive years of dividend increases.

The group operates through several brands. NAPA Auto Parts runs a network of nearly 6,000 stores distributing approximately 800,000 different parts across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe and Australasia. Motion Industries, the Industrial Parts Group, provides access to more than 18 million replacement parts for MRO and OEM customers in diverse industries, supported by value-added industrial solutions. UAP and Alliance Automotive Group extend the automotive portfolio across retail, commercial and industrial segments. Between them the businesses serve more than 190,000 MRO and OEM customers and hundreds of thousands of customers overall.

Work spans automotive and industrial parts distribution, MRO and OEM supply, value-added industrial services and global parts supply chain operations. In 2026 the company announced plans to separate into two independent publicly traded companies, aiming to sharpen strategic focus across its automotive and industrial businesses.
