The ForceMetrics Platform is device-agnostic and designed to require minimal training; it is deployed across more than 30 police departments in 11 states, including Aurora, Colorado, and Beverly Hills, California. The company reports that its tooling saves officers an hour or more per shift.
The engineering work spans machine learning, topic modeling, named entity recognition, unstructured data processing and real-time data integration. A product feature called Safety Signals surfaces non-visible special needs and risks - such as autism, overdose risk and victimisation patterns - so responders can make better-informed decisions on arrival. The stated design aim is simplicity without a loss of sophistication.
ForceMetrics was founded and built by former FBI Special Agent Andre McGregor and his team, and describes its mission as saving lives and building safer communities. The company has raised $22M and operates across the United States, serving the law enforcement, first response and emergency services (911) sectors.
