Foodstuffs South Island Limited

Foodstuffs South Island Limited is a 100% New Zealand owned and operated grocery retail cooperative. It supplies groceries, service and value to communities across the South Island through a network of more than 200 locally owned stores, ranging from Golden Bay to Stewart Island. The organisation employs 14,000 team members and has been serving Kiwis for nearly 100 years.

The cooperative structure means individual stores are run by local operators as business owners in their own right, supported by shared infrastructure and shared values. This gives each store local accountability within a wider grocery, supermarket and food distribution operation covering the South Island.
