Eldor

Eldor is a multinational automotive technology manufacturer that develops and produces components and systems for vehicle electrification and combustion optimisation, supplying major car manufacturers worldwide. Founded in 1972 by Pasquale Forte as a small garage operation, the company now employs approximately 3,000 people and has run for more than five decades.

Its product portfolio spans electronic control units, electric motors and magnetic components for electrification applications, alongside the ignition systems for which the company is particularly known - designed to optimise combustion and reduce CO2 emissions in gas-powered vehicles. Eldor is also expanding into urban e-mobility through EV charging stations and exploring clean-energy applications such as fuel cells. Technical work therefore covers vehicle electrification, e-motors, ignition and combustion, charging infrastructure, fuel cells and CO2 reduction technologies.

Headquartered in Orsenigo, in northern Italy, the company operates research and development centres and production plants across multiple continents, with facilities in China, Turkey, Brazil and the United States.
