EC English Language Centres

EC English Language Centres is an international language school group founded in Malta in 1991. It provides English language education to students from more than 120 countries and helps over 40,000 students a year. The company operates schools in seven countries: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Malta, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates, giving it a presence across Europe, North America, Africa and the Middle East.

Its course portfolio includes General English, aimed at everyday communication, and exam preparation programmes for IELTS, Cambridge English, TOEFL and TOEIC. Alongside teaching, EC English provides student support services covering visa guidance and accommodation assistance, which underpin its study-abroad operations.

The company states that its teaching methodology is built on research and measurement of student progress. Its schools use small class sizes and experienced teachers, with an emphasis on helping students build confidence in speaking English. The working environment is international and multicultural, reflecting a student body drawn from over 120 countries. EC English has operated for more than three decades.
