Eataly North America

Eataly North America runs Italian food and beverage marketplaces combining restaurants, retail, a bakery and a cooking school, alongside quick-service coffee and mobile ordering concepts.

Eataly North America operates the North American arm of Eataly, described as the world's largest artisanal Italian food and beverage marketplace. Founded in 2007 by Oscar Farinetti in Turin, Italy, the company runs more than 40 locations worldwide, with a presence in Italy, the United States, Japan, Turkey, the Middle East, Brazil, France and the United Kingdom. Its flagship format, the Eataly Marketplace, combines restaurants, food and beverage counters, a bakery, retail stores and a cooking school within a single destination.

Beyond its marketplaces, Eataly has expanded into quick-service and digital formats. Eataly Caffè brings Italian coffee-bar culture to New York City, and the Eataly Mobile App supports a quick-service ordering experience for the concept. The company's technical work spans mobile app development, digital food ordering and quick-service technology, and e-commerce and retail operations.

Eataly's stated mission is to gather high-quality Italian food products at sustainable and reasonable prices for all, under a brand philosophy of "Eating Italian" that celebrates the history and culture of Italian gastronomy. The business is positioned as a place to learn about food - part school, part market, part gathering table - rather than a store alone. Its activities span food and beverage retail, restaurants, artisanal grocery, bakery, culinary education, hospitality and coffee.
