Doji

Doji is a New York-based AI fashion platform where users create avatars and try on luxury clothing before buying, sharing looks with friends.

Doji is an AI-powered fashion platform founded in 2024 and headquartered in New York City. It allows users to build personalised virtual likenesses, or avatars, and to try on real clothing from luxury brands before buying. The company's stated aim is to make fashion shopping more personal, playful and accessible through AI, combining social discovery with e-commerce: users experiment with looks, assemble outfits and share favourites with friends.

The company works across generative AI and diffusion models, personalisation, computer vision and virtual try-on, as well as social commerce interfaces. It operates in the fashion, e-commerce, luxury retail and retail technology verticals.

Doji was co-founded by Dorian Dargan and Jim Winkens; the name is a portmanteau of Dorian and Jim. The founding team brings experience from Apple, DeepMind, Meta and Shopify. The company is backed by investors behind OpenAI, Cursor and SKIMS.
