CommunityCare

CommunityCare is Oklahoma's largest locally owned health plan, offering group, individual, Medicare Advantage, HMO and PPO coverage, EAP services and pharmacy resources from Tulsa.

CommunityCare is Oklahoma's largest locally owned health plan. Founded in 1993 and based in Tulsa, it provides regional health insurance coverage and related services to individuals, families and employers across the state. The company was formed through a partnership between two regional health systems, Saint Francis Hospital and St. John Medical Center, both with roots in the Tulsa community dating back to the 1960s.

Its product line spans group health plans for employers and employee groups, individual health plans for families, and Medicare Advantage coverage for Medicare-eligible members. Plan structures include HMO and PPO options. Beyond insurance, CommunityCare operates an Employee Assistance Program offering clinical services, organisational consultation and workplace integration support to regional employers, as well as pharmacy resources covering mail order and specialty options, health and wellness programmes, and a Member & Resource Center for plan assistance and community resources.

The company reports access to a wide network of healthcare providers and states an emphasis on practical health plan solutions at value. It describes its service philosophy as local, personalised and compassionate, with a member-centred approach focused on optimal health and wellbeing and on building strong relationships with both members and providers.
