Beem is a pan-African cloud communication and financial services platform that helps enterprises engage customers through mobile and omnichannel messaging. Its services span SMS and USSD messaging, mobile payments and fintech, airtime distribution, and customer engagement across channels including WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram, all delivered with APIs and platform integration support.

The company's product suite includes BeemAPIs, which gives businesses programmatic access to communication and mobile service channels; BeemEngage, for reaching customers on their preferred communication channels; and BeamMoja, a product within its integrated communications and financial services suite supporting mobile solutions for enterprises.

Beem operates in more than 25 African markets and maintains partnerships with over 150 mobile networks globally, giving it what it describes as the largest mobile network reach in Africa. It has been named among Forbes Africa's top 20 technology startups and has been featured by Al-Jazeera and BBC Africa.

The company was founded by Taha Jiwaji, who began his entrepreneurial career as a teenager in his parents' computer shop in Tanzania. Beem's stated focus is on digital transformation across Africa, with an emphasis on customer relationships and innovation.
