Arroyo Seco Saints
A Pasadena-based 501(c)(3) summer collegiate baseball organisation running a summer ball programme and an internship scheme in broadcasting, design, athletic training and baseball operations.
Arroyo Seco Saints is a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit summer collegiate baseball organization, founded in 2004 and based in Pasadena, California. Each June and July it fields a team of elite college players recruited from across the country at the historic Jackie Robinson Memorial Field, and describes its programme as the finest collegiate summer baseball experience in the nation.
For those seeking experience rather than a roster spot, the organisation runs a College Internship Program that places dozens of college interns every summer. Positions span sports broadcasting, graphic design, athletic training and baseball operations, with work on the field, in the press box and behind the scenes. Interns are treated as integral team members and the programme is framed as a starting point for careers in baseball; the wider technical remit also covers game-day logistics, player housing coordination, and media and content production.
The organisation is community-driven, combining players, dedicated staff, volunteers and fans around what it calls the #SaintsOfSummer identity. It operates in Pasadena and the greater Los Angeles area and is a non-profit in the collegiate summer baseball, sports and recreation, and sports media sectors.
