This role requires in-office attendance at least 3 days/week in New York City.
The Role
Air is looking for a highly driven and execution-focused
Director of Sales to lead and scale our Sales team. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role reporting to the VP of Revenue. You will manage and coach a team of Account Executives, own the success of our pre-sales motion, and build playbooks that will fuel our next 10x growth in the mid-market segment.
This role is ideal for an ambitious sales leader who can balance strategic thinking with fast, ruthless execution day to day and thrives in highly fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Execute Air's go-to-market sales strategy to drive ARR growth and expand market share across agencies, marketing teams, and creative-driven enterprises
- Build and manage a high-performing team of AEs; recruit, onboard, coach, and hold accountable against aggressive targets
Revenue Growth
- Drive consistent pipeline generation, qualification, and deal closure
- Own SMB & MM sales motions with a top performing sales team
Market Expansion
- Identify and prioritize verticals where Air's strengths provide competitive advantage
- Expand Air's reach in key verticals by identifying and targeting top-tier brands for strategic growth
Operational Excellence
- Establish sales plays, optimize funnel stages, and refine forecasting models
- Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure GTM alignment and customer feedback loops
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven success scaling sales teams in fast-growth SaaS environments
- Expertise in smb and mid-market sales motions
- Strong forecasting and CRM (Salesforce preferred) fluency; data-driven decision-maker
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Must be based in New York City and able to work onsite at least 3 days per week

- Competitive Compensation: The expected total compensation (OTE) for this position is between USD $280,000 and $360,000 + options, commensurate with experience
