The Category Space Analyst plays an integral role in enhancing Red Bull's market presence through market analysis, product distribution & placement, and shelf space at various retailers across the United States. The Category Space Analyst will be expected to leverage tools such as IRI, Shopper/Category insights and Retailer/Distributor data to create profitable planogram and maintain current planogram information and supply analysis to the field for execution.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
PROVIDE INSIGHTFUL PLANOGRAM SUPPORT TO RETAIL CUSTOMERS
Collaborate with Category Development Managers and Analysts to develop fact-based planogram recommendations for our Strategic Accounts. Turn data into stories to draw conclusions, identify opportunities, make recommendations, and evaluate impact for strategic accounts Accompany Category Development Managers or lead retail meetings regarding space planning methodology and processes Manage planogram reset projects for accounts by maintaining accurate timelines and resources, working with outside vendors
DEVELOP SPACE PLANNING RESEARCH AND RESOURCES
Help us develop insights-based schematic presentations using external and internal data to help promote conversations in the field Maintain data-driven tools to capture category growth information for each Red Bull account Conduct new space planning research and present recommendations to the Business Insights Team Develop Space Planning Tools suite, including product and image libraries, JDA tables, labels, highlights, and space optimization calculator
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- 2+ years of experience in product merchandising, space planning software, or related work experience
- Project Management experience
- Experience turning complex data sets into meaningful/ actionable recommendations.
- Experience with syndicated data tools (e.g. IRI, NITRO, Nielsen Answers CORE)
- Experience presenting to retailers
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $68,000-$100,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
