About the Customer: International Trade Administration (ITA) — Industry & Analysis
The International Trade Administration (ITA), an agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce, is dedicated to promoting U.S. exports, attracting inbound investment, delivering actionable data and analysis, and ensuring fair trade—all geared toward strengthening the global competitiveness of American industry.
Within ITA, the Industry & Analysis (I&A) division plays a critical role in driving policy solutions informed by industry data and analytical insights. I&A supports U.S. exporters through research, trade strategy development, and market intelligence across diverse sectors such as manufacturing, services, supply chains, and more. Operational across over 100 U.S. cities and 80 international markets, ITA employs approximately 2,200 trade specialists and professionals worldwide.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Project Manager to provide end-to-end project oversight and leadership across human capital management programs under a high-impact federal contract. In this role, you will interface with senior government stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure technical, administrative, and contractual success across concurrent initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to help shape scalable, sustainable processes that support U.S. competitiveness on the global stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership & Oversight
- Lead comprehensive project lifecycle activities, including planning, execution, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and deliverable quality assurance.
- Provide strategic guidance to project staff and manage vendor coordination to integrate third-party work effectively.
- Team & Stakeholder Management
- Supervise and mentor project teams, ensuring clear roles, accountability, and performance.
- Serve as the principal contact for ITA senior leadership and BryceTech executives—delivering concise, insightful project updates and proactively managing expectations.
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure deliverables adhere to contract, schedule, and quality requirements; manage change control with stakeholder alignment.
- Advise on process improvement opportunities, adapting workflows to evolving project objectives and emerging ITA needs.
- Analytical & Risk Management
- Apply an analytical mindset to anticipate and address complex, non-routine challenges.
- Identify project risks and dependencies early; develop and champion mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted delivery.
- Governance & Compliance
- Oversee performance in line with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) review protocols.
- Implement BryceTech’s Quality Assurance infrastructure tailored to ITA’s expectations.
- Organizational Impact
- Contribute to the refinement of BryceTech’s human capital management solutions, drawing from best practices and lessons learned to elevate future task orders.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects and multidisciplinary teams in government or consulting environments.
- Strong experience interfacing with federal clients, including performance monitoring and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and solve complex, non-routine problems with a high level of analytical skill.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting human capital management initiatives within federal agencies.
- PMP or other relevant project management certification.
- Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.
