Role Description
Delta Lima is seeking an experienced AI/ML engineer to support the U.S. Army OTJAG’s AI initiative. This role is responsible for deploying, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning models in production environments. The AI/ML engineer will focus on building scalable systems for model lifecycle management, including versioning, CI/CD automation, and performance tracking.
This is a highly technical, execution-driven position that ensures the reliability and operational
success of AI/ML solutions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable owning the full MLOps
workflow, collaborating closely with data scientists, engineers, and developers to bridge the gap
between model development and real-world deployment.

Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in machine learning engineering, DevOps, or a related field
- Strong proficiency with Python and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow)
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models
- Deep understanding of MLOps best practices, including model versioning, rollback, and monitoring
- Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure)
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and deliver production-ready solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting DoD or federal government clients
- Familiarity with secure and compliant deployment practices in classified or sensitive environments
- Experience with model performance dashboards, custom monitoring solutions, or retraining triggers
- Background in building and managing inference APIs at scale
