Position Summary:
The Candidate Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for onboarding candidates to our roster. You will ensure the caregiver and RN candidates are effectively screened, enrolled, and prepared to provide compassionate care to our clients. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining high standards of care and enhancing the overall quality of our services.
Experience and Education Requirements
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in onboarding and recruitment.
Essential Job Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruitment: Proactively sourcing, identifying, and onboarding candidates to meet specific client needs or expand the business in targeted geographical regions when required
- Candidate Screening: Review applications and conduct initial screenings of caregiver and RN candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and compatibility with our care standards.
- Onboarding Process: Manage the onboarding process for new caregiver and RN candidates, including scheduling interviews, collecting necessary documentation, checking references and licenses, and conducting background checks.
- Database Management: Maintain and update caregiver and RN information in our database, ensuring all candidate information is accurate and current.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for caregiver candidates, providing information about the onboarding process and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Compliance: Ensure that all onboarding procedures adhere to company policies, state regulations, and industry standards, including maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information.
- Feedback and Improvement: Gather input from new caregivers and RN candidates about the onboarding process and identify areas for improvement to enhance the candidate experience. Work with the Director of Operations to implement onboarding improvements.
