I’m working with an NYC-based healthtech startup building AI systems to remove the documentation and workflow bottlenecks that slow healthcare down. The goal is simple: make clinical operations faster, more reliable, and less wasteful.
They’re hiring an AI Software Engineer to design and scale the core AI behind this platform - developing production-ready LLM systems that clinicians can actually depend on.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and scale AI/ML systems for documentation automation and workflow optimization
- Build LLM-powered features (RAG, fine-tuning, prompt engineering)
- Develop evaluation frameworks to ensure safety, accuracy, and performance
- Translate clinical requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Design and maintain data pipelines and monitoring for production ML
You Might Be a Fit If You…
- Have a strong background in AI/ML engineering with production experience
- Bring hands-on expertise with Transformers, Python/ML frameworks, and cloud infra
- Have shipped production AI systems and made architecture decisions
- Thrive in fast-moving, early-stage environments where ownership matters
