Job Description: Technical Analyst – Data Science

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Technical Analyst – Data Science to support business needs through data analysis, solution development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role blends technical expertise with business acumen to deliver impactful insights and scalable data solutions.

WKey Responsibilities:

Analyze business processes and translate requirements into technical specifications
Design and develop scripts, APIs, and automation tools for advanced analytics
Build and maintain data pipelines to support data science initiatives
Collaborate with stakeholders and data scientists to define problems and implement solutions
Develop reports and visualizations to communicate insights and metrics
Ensure data quality and reliability across analytics workflows
Support Agile development processes including sprint planning and UAT
Document technical approaches and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Apply geospatial analysis techniques to support location-based decision-making

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
3–5 years of experience in a hybrid technical/business analyst role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Experience working with large-scale datasets and Agile teams

Technical Skills:

Programming & Scripting: Python, Java, SQL, R
Databases & Analytics: Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DataStax/Astra DB, ETL, Data Modeling
Cloud & DevOps: AWS (S3, SageMaker)
Tools & Frameworks: Git, Jira, Confluence, PyCharm, Notebooks
Machine Learning & Deep Learning: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow
GenAI/LLMs: Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and frameworks
Geospatial Tools: ArcGIS, QGIS, CARTO, or Python geospatial libraries
