Create is hiring a Retail Partnerships Lead to own and grow our retail channel relationships. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role responsible for delivering exceptional business results with our retail partners through strategic planning, superior execution, and data-driven storytelling.
You'll be the primary owner of our retail customer relationships, driving business plans, managing category performance, and ensuring flawless execution of launches, promotions, and in-store programs. You'll partner closely with Operations, Marketing, Planning, and our brokers to deliver on sales goals and position Create Wellness as a best-in-class partner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Retail Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key retail accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships with merchant, planning, and marketing teams at each retailer. Partner with brokers to ensure execution excellence and accountability
- Business Planning & Sales Growth: Develop and execute joint business plans (JBP) that deliver revenue and profit goals. Lead seasonal and annual planning cycles, including line reviews and promotional planning. Monitor in-market performance, identifying opportunities to drive incremental sales
- Analytics & Insights: Analyze syndicated, category, and store-level data to assess business performance and identify growth opportunities. Translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Develop compelling, data-backed presentations for internal and external audiences
- Execution & Project Management: Oversee execution of launches, promotions, and merchandising programs from planning through in-store execution. Coordinate with Operations, Planning, and Marketing to align inventory, packaging, and creative assets with retail timelines. Track program performance and ROI, making recommendations for improvement
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Supply Chain & Operations Lead to ensure on-time, in-full delivery and retailer compliance. Work with Strategic Supply Chain Planning Lead to align demand forecasts with retail priorities. Coordinate with Marketing to deliver retailer-specific activations that strengthen brand presence
Requirements
Requirements:
- Experience: 4-6 years in CPG retail account management, category management, or sales, with direct customer-facing responsibility
- Analytical Expertise: Strong with syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, SPINS), category analytics, and store-level reporting
- Storytelling Skills: Able to translate data and insights into clear, persuasive narratives for buyers and internal stakeholders
- Task Management & Resourcefulness: Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ownership Mindset: Takes full responsibility for business results and execution quality
- Collaboration Skills: Proven success working cross-functionally with operations, planning, marketing, and external partners
Nice to Have:
- Experience managing brokers or third-party sales agencies
- Familiarity with retailer-specific portals, scorecards, and compliance processes
- Exposure to DTC or omni-channel brand environments
- Experience presenting to senior retail leadership and internal executives
