Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve inventory control and workflow
- Lead a team of warehouse personnel, providing training, support, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and conduct regular inventory audits
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and warehouse best practices
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize supply chain processes and reduce costs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceuticals industry
- Proficient in inventory management software and warehouse management systems
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations
