Who You Are
The Site Operations Manager is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing day-to-day security operations at a designated client site. This role manages and mentors on-site security personnel, ensures compliance with operational procedures, and acts as the liaison between the client and Joffe's leadership team. The Site Manager upholds safety and security standards, fosters team accountability, and actively contributes to a secure, service-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all security operations at the client site, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Supervise, support, and schedule security personnel, ensuring adequate post coverage across shifts
- Conduct post inspections and provide on-the-job training for new and current staff
- Act as first responder to incidents, emergencies, and coverage shortages, including standing post if necessary
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and ensure compliance with all post orders and company policies
- Monitor officer performance and administer coaching or disciplinary action when directed by leadership
- Maintain detailed shift activity logs and submit incident reports as needed
- Respond to staffing issues, such as call-offs, and facilitate immediate solutions including coverage or schedule adjustments
- Ensure that all personnel maintain valid licenses and certifications
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous development
- Represent the values and culture of the client environment while ensuring alignment with Joffe's standards
- Assist with investigations and follow-up actions regarding employee relations or security incidents

- People Management: Supervises, mentors, and motivates Campus Security Officers, fostering a professional and accountable team culture
- Training & Development: Conducts ongoing education for Campus Security Officers, strengthening their response capabilities and professional growth
- Client-Facing Leadership: Builds and maintains positive relationships with the campus community, balancing security needs with exceptional service
- Problem Solving & Conflict Management: Assesses situations, applies approved de-escalation strategies, and delivers timely responses to security events
- Time Management & Decision Making: Prioritizes responsibilities effectively and acts decisively in high-pressure situations
- Drive for Results: Advances security measures, improves incident response, and elevates overall team performance
Requirements
- Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience managing security personnel or similar supervisory role
- Prior experience in security, military, law enforcement, or facilities management
- Proven ability to manage teams, prioritize tasks, and solve problems under pressure
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Valid security officer license (SPO or equivalent)
- Ability to pass background checks and maintain a professional, uniformed appearance
- Preferred:
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in Google Suite or security reporting tools
- Experience working with schools or similar community-based institutions
