Job Title: Director/Manager, Events
Location: On-Site with Travel - Orem, Utah
Exempt: $70,000 – $90,000

Position Summary:
As the
Events Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, organizing, executing, and attending events that promote Just Ingredients and our products. You will play a key role in increasing brand exposure and driving sales by planning both in-person and virtual events, collaborating with the marketing and sales teams, and ensuring that each event showcases our products to elevate our brand visibility, drive product awareness, and engage with customers and partners at each event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Coordination:
- Strategically plan, schedule, and execute a diverse portfolio of events, including trade shows, pop-up shops, product launches, health and wellness expos, and influencer/brand partnerships.
- Ensure events align with the company’s goals, target audiences, and brand positioning
- Manage end-to-end logistics for events: venue selection, vendor coordination, product displays, staffing, transportation and accommodation
- Oversee set up, ensure all materials (brochures, promotional items, product samples) are displayed and available
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring that all events are executed within budget and timelines
- Track expenses and report on ROI to ensure the events are cost-effective and successful
- Brand Representation:
- Serve as a brand ambassador at events, representing the company values and products to prospective customers, industry professionals, and media.
- Engage with attendees to educate them on the benefits of our products and how they fit into a healthy lifestyle
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with the marketing and sales teams to integrate event strategies with broader marketing campaigns (social media, email, influencer outreach)
- Support sales goals by engaging with potential customers, collecting leads, and helping to convert prospects into customers.
- Follow up with leads post-event and work with the sales team to close sales
- Identify key events, expos, and conferences in the health, wellness, and supplement sectors to expand presence
- Stay informed on industry trends to enhance relevance and strategic positioning.
- Post-Event Analysis and Relationship Management:
- Analyze event success and effectiveness by collecting attendee feedback, analyzing engagement data, and tracking sales performance.
- Provide comprehensive post-event reports and recommendations for future event strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with event attendees, influencers, and industry partners to enhance brand loyalty and increase exposure within target communities
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably within the health, wellness, or supplement industry
- Previous experience with product launches, trade shows, expos, or similar events is highly preferred
- Comfortable attending both in-person and virtual events and interacting with diverse audiences
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with customers, vendors, and influencers
- Creative and proactive approach to event promotion and execution
- Willingness to travel and represent the company at scheduled events, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
- Proficiency with budget management, expense tracking, and event success metrics reporting
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field or relevant experience. (preferred degree, but not required)
- Personal Attributes:
