Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager of Supply Chain who excels at aligning sales, production, inventory, and financial planning to support sustained growth and profitability. This role involves leading collaborative forecasting processes, driving operational efficiency, and enhancing the integration between demand planning, supply chain, and business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning cycle, ensuring effective communication and alignment between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Develop and maintain accurate, data-driven demand forecasts to optimize inventory levels and meet customer demand effectively.
- Identify gaps between demand forecasts and capacity constraints, providing proactive solutions to balance supply and demand.
- Analyze inventory positions, propose actionable inventory strategies, and manage inventory targets aligned with company goals.
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and supply chain responsiveness through rigorous performance measurement and process optimization.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to integrate strategic initiatives, new product launches, promotions, and other business priorities into the S&OP process.
- Regularly report key S&OP metrics and insights to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Support the team on any and all supply chain related goals and objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading Sales & Operations Planning processes, ideally in a DTC eCommerce or consumer products environment.
- Ability to thrive in an intense, fast paced, growth stage environment where agility, adaptability and entrepreneurial thinking are key for success
- Demonstrated expertise in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and capacity planning.
- Proven experience implementing and optimizing S&OP processes and driving alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and propose effective operational strategies.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and driving collaborative decision-making.
- Proficiency in relevant tools and systems (ERP, Demand Planning software, Excel, BI Tools).
