Bowie Barker Bath + Groomerie offers personalized services for every pup. Born out of the necessity for high-quality care that dog owners can trust, Bowie Barker’s customizable offerings range from full-service grooming to self-serve wash stations for every size dog. Bowie Barker updates the traditional grooming experience with a convenient booking app, health checks, sustainable products, and more for its members and guests. Following its franchise launch in 2023, Bowie Barker currently has four locations open with additional shops in development nationwide.

Position Summary:
The Director of Project Management – Franchise Operations will serve as the strategic engine behind the successful planning, coordination, and implementation of major initiatives that impact franchise development and field operations. This individual will act as a key connector between headquarters and franchise partners—aligning stakeholders, ensuring project milestones are met, and enhancing communication across all levels of the organization.
You will drive scalable systems and processes that improve the franchisee experience, streamline execution, and maintain operational consistency as both brands continue to scale nationally.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Project Leadership
- Lead end-to-end management of enterprise-level projects across departments (Marketing, Training, IT, Operations).
- Design and execute a 90+ day forward-looking project pipeline with clear timelines, deliverables, and accountability.
- Translate brand and business goals into actionable roadmaps that align HQ teams and field operators.
Franchise Partner Enablement
- Serve as a central point of contact for franchisees, owning project communication and coordination from onboarding to maturity.
- Establish systems to track key milestones, deliverables, and compliance across multiple development timelines.
- Develop structured onboarding experiences for new franchisees in partnership with operations and training teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Facilitate seamless communication and alignment between HQ departments, ensuring timelines and messaging are consistent and execution-ready.
- Build and lead cross-functional project teams for launches of new systems, services, or locations.
- Ensure initiatives are supported with training materials, SOPs, and communications that drive operational clarity.
Communication Strategy
- Own franchisee-facing communications including rollout guides, updates, playbooks, and platform announcements.
- Implement consistent cadence for updates (e.g., newsletters, webinars, KPI reporting).
- Lead the development of internal communications tools that support project transparency and adoption.
Operational Systems & Documentation
- Maintain and improve Operations Manuals and key reference documents for franchisees.
- Partner with departments to pilot, test, and roll out new processes and platforms across corporate and franchise locations.
- Integrate feedback loops and performance data into process improvements and planning cycles.
Qualifications:
- 5–7+ years of experience in project management, franchise operations, or cross-functional business leadership, ideally in service-based or wellness brands.
- Proven success in managing complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence without authority—particularly in a franchise environment.
- Experience with project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Strong understanding of operational systems, franchise support models, and multi-unit field operations.
- Bachelor’s degree required; PMP or similar certification a plus.
- Willingness to travel for boutique openings, team alignment, and site support.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 annually, based on experience.
- Bonus: Performance-based bonus eligibility.

- Hybrid work schedule with on-site presence in Beverly Hills HQ three days per week.
