Athlete to Athlete is a fast-growing, venture-backed start-up based in Los Angeles that offers Athletic Mentorship and Coaching Programs for youth athletes. In our programs, student-athletes are paired with a current Division 1 College-Athlete Mentor who plays their sport and can help build their confidence, taking their game to the next level. Our mission is to build the next generation of driven, confident, and resilient student-athletes through mentorship.
About The Role
In this position, you will play a pivotal part in our day-to-day operational efficiencies, ensuring the smooth functioning of our program. Your responsibilities will include customer communication, mentor coordination, meeting facilitation, and general sales support. You will serve as a key contributor to our operations in collaboration with our co-founders. Overall, you will serve as a liaison between our mentors and mentees and their immediate families to ensure seamless interaction and satisfaction with our services.
You will work closely with our marketing and operations teams to most effectively coordinate efforts across the company and continuously improve our sales funnel. This is an on-site position based in Santa Monica.
Responsibilities
- Trigger various workflow automations for onboarding and managing mentor/mentee administrative tasks
- Serve as the administrator for our texting platform that communicates with both parents (customers) and mentors (employees) and answer questions through email
- Manage our master operations spreadsheet and taking appropriate action as needed to keep operations running smoothly
- Manage customer records in our billing system (Stripe) and mentor (employee) records in our internal HR system
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
- Past experience in a operations, project management, or customer success related position
- Intrinsically detail-oriented and organized – you’ll be working with lots of data and systems that are key to our success
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail
