Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Product Safety & Regulatory Compliance Attorneys to contribute legal expertise to an AI training project focused on product safety and regulatory compliance. The role involves analyzing regulations, reviewing compliance documentation, evaluating legal scenarios, and providing expert feedback to improve the accuracy and reliability of AI-generated content. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Review and interpret product safety laws, regulations, and standards across multiple jurisdictions.
2. Draft, edit, and evaluate regulatory compliance documents, legal opinions, and related materials.
3. Provide detailed written assessments of product safety case studies and compliance scenarios.
4. Evaluate product compliance strategies and recommend improvements or risk mitigation measures.
5. Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance.
6. Identify compliance gaps, potential risks, and their legal implications.
7. Develop and review structured legal content to support AI model training and evaluation.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification, preferably with a focus on product safety, consumer protection, or regulatory compliance.
2. Significant experience advising on federal, state, and international product safety regulations, including applicable CPSC, EU, FDA, or similar regulatory requirements.
3. Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex legal and regulatory concepts clearly.
4. Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
5. Proven experience drafting and reviewing technical documents, compliance policies, or legal opinions related to product safety.
6. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving project requirements.
7. Interest in emerging technologies and applying legal expertise to AI-related initiatives.
