Wisk Aero LLC

Wisk Aero LLC is an aviation company that designs, builds, and tests aircraft, with the stated mission of delivering safe, everyday flight for everyone. Founded in 2010, the company works across aerospace engineering, aircraft design, aircraft manufacturing, flight testing and aviation. Its development programme has produced five generations of aircraft, flown with more than 1,750 safe test flights since 2010.

The work is carried out by teams drawn from engineering, design, manufacturing, aviation and other disciplines. Wisk describes an operating approach in which ideas are built and tested early, lessons are drawn quickly from results, and iteration proceeds with a positive sense of urgency. The company frames its work as tackling high-impact problems that have not been solved before.

Wisk sets out five values: dedication creates results; we learn by doing; integrity is everything; safety is our cornerstone; and we are in this together. In practice these translate into honouring commitments even when it is difficult, and encouraging staff to speak up about and celebrate tough choices that support a strong safety culture. Wisk is a strategic partner in aviation innovation with Boeing.
