Winparts

Winparts is an online retailer of automotive spare parts and accessories, and one of the largest e-commerce platforms for car parts in Europe. Founded in 2005 and based in the Netherlands, the company sells through seven dedicated webshops serving different European markets, among them the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France and Sweden. Its catalog holds more than 1 million car parts and accessories - including brake systems, body panels, car lights, exhaust systems, drivetrain and suspension components - covering over 40,500 vehicle types and more than 200 car brands. More than 2,500 packages are shipped daily.

The business runs its operations in-house, from purchasing and product assortment to packaging, digital marketing and customer service. Work spans e-commerce and online retail technology, catalog and assortment management, logistics and distribution, and customer service operations. The company reports a customer satisfaction rating of 8.5/10.

Winparts was acquired by Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) in June 2021. AAG is owned by Genuine Parts Company, described as the world's largest distributor of automotive parts. The firm has its roots in a family business dismantling BMWs, started in 1986 by the van Essen brothers, Ari and Meinard. It states an ambition to rank first or second in the wider European market within the next decade.
