Tredegar develops and manufactures engineered materials and products designed to solve demanding material-performance problems. The company operates through two primary businesses: Aluminum Extrusions, which supplies custom aluminium extruded profiles to North American building and construction, automotive and specialty end-use markets, and Surface Protection, which produces engineered films that protect critical surfaces and support advanced packaging applications.

Its product lines include masking and other highly engineered films for the global electronics industry, backed by technical development, clean-room manufacturing, testing and quality-assurance capabilities, as well as packaging materials for consumer, industrial, medical and automotive applications. The work draws on materials science, surface protection, packaging materials and quality control and testing, and is oriented toward demanding physical and industrial environments.

Tredegar employs approximately 1,500 people across operations in North America and Asia, serving industries including building and construction, automotive, electronics, packaging, transportation, consumer products, industrial, medical and other specialty markets.
