Thrive Global

Thrive Global builds science-backed behaviour change technology, including its Microsteps method, embedded in workplace tools such as Teams, Slack and Salesforce to reduce stress and burnout.

Thrive Global is a behaviour change technology company founded in 2016 by Arianna Huffington. The firm builds science-backed software that is embedded in the workplace tools employees already use - among them Microsoft Teams, Slack and Salesforce - to reduce stress and burnout and to improve wellbeing and performance. Its central method is the Microstep: a small, immediately actionable change designed to be completed within the working day, drawn from the company's stated focus areas of sleep, food, movement, stress management and connection.

The Thrive Global Platform is deployed across more than 200 organisations, reaching employees in 160 countries. Named enterprise partners and clients include Walmart, Bank of America, Accenture, Pfizer and Microsoft. The company sells into corporate wellness, employer and healthcare markets, as well as the broader enterprise workplace technology sector, and places weight on measurable improvements in health outcomes, engagement and productivity.

Ms Huffington established the business after collapsing from sleep deprivation and exhaustion in 2007. Thrive Global's stated premise is that burnout is not the price of success but the barrier to it, and that when people thrive, businesses do too. Technical work spans behaviour change technology, digital health, software integrations and science-backed habit formation.
