Founded in 2004 in Wilmington, North Carolina by two friends, the firm remains co-founder-owned and operates across nearly every state in America. Its network comprises more than 850 publications, reaches millions of readers and serves some 30,000 clients.

The company's portfolio spans several magazine brands. Stroll produces neighbourhood publications for local communities; Real Producers focuses on real estate producers; and BeLocal serves local markets around the country. The business sits at the intersection of local publishing, community media and local advertising, with a particular presence in real estate media.

The N2 Company states a mission to honour God, strengthen families and create financial wealth for everyone involved. Through N2GIVES, its giving programme, the company has donated $30 million since 2016 to causes fighting human trafficking.
