The Korte Company

The Korte Company is a Design-Build construction firm that delivers integrated design and construction services to public, private and military customers across the United States. Founded in 1958 and headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, with additional offices in Highland, Illinois, and Las Vegas, Nevada, the firm has completed more than 4,000 projects over more than six decades of operation.

The company's core offering is Design-Build construction services: a single-source delivery model that keeps design and construction teams under one roof, giving projects cohesive teams across every phase. Around 90% of the firm's work is delivered by this method. Technical domains include Design-Build construction, integrated design and construction delivery, and construction project management.

Project types span schools and education, churches and religious facilities, commercial developments, aircraft hangars, factories and manufacturing, distribution centres and warehousing, healthcare facilities and government buildings. Work is undertaken for public sector, private sector and military/defence clients nationwide.

The company traces its heritage to founder Ralph Korte, a farmer's son who built the business on dedication and hard work, and states that the values of passion, commitment and integrity have carried since its founding. Its operating approach emphasises collaborative teams working under one roof and single-source responsibility, with a focus on innovative solutions and added value.
