TGW Logistics Group
TGW Logistics Group designs, implements and maintains automated warehouse systems and fulfilment centres, working in mechatronics, robotics and warehouse management software.
TGW Logistics Group designs, implements and maintains highly automated, intelligent warehouse systems and end-to-end fulfilment centres for retailers, manufacturers and distributors. Founded in Austria in 1969 by Ludwig Szinicz and Heinz König, the company has grown from a small transport-equipment manufacturer into a global logistics-automation business employing more than 4,600 specialists across 24 locations worldwide.
The company's work spans mechatronics, robotics, warehouse automation, intralogistics and supply-chain optimisation. Its projects cover entire fulfilment operations rather than storage alone, combining automated material-handling systems with warehouse management software. Sectors served include fashion, grocery, industrial and consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, e-commerce and logistics.
Engineering and software roles sit alongside service and lifecycle functions, since TGW maintains the systems it installs. The company has been foundation-owned since 2004 and states that most profits are reinvested in the business and its workforce rather than distributed to maximise shareholder returns. It describes its approach as human-centred, pairing advanced technology with people, and states a long-term focus on innovation under the vision "It's Possible".
