TalentPad was an online recruitment marketplace based in New Delhi, India. Founded in 2014, it connected premium technology talent with employers in the technology, internet and analytics sectors. The platform inverted the conventional hiring model: rather than candidates applying to job postings, job seekers showcased their skills to hundreds of employers at once and companies made the first move.
The TalentPad recruitment marketplace was built around matching algorithms for recruitment and talent marketplace infrastructure, with a stated aim of completing the entire hiring process within a week. More than 200 companies used the platform. Work covered online recruitment technology, talent marketplace platforms and matching algorithms for recruitment.
The company was founded by three IIT alumni - IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay and IIT BHU - whose backgrounds included IIM Ahmedabad, Google, JP Morgan and Deloitte. TalentPad raised seed-stage funding and focused on premium tech and product talent in India.
