SimCorp provides integrated front-to-back investment management platforms, including its IBOR and Axioma risk tools, to asset managers, banks, pension funds and other buy-side institutions.
SimCorp builds integrated investment management software for the buy side. Founded in 1971 in Copenhagen, the firm supplies front-to-back platforms to asset managers, banks, pension funds, insurance companies, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds and central banks. Its client list includes 40 of the world's top 100 asset managers. SimCorp operates as a subsidiary of Deutsche Börse Group.
The flagship product, SimCorp One, is positioned as a single integrated front-to-back investment management solution built on a unified data architecture. At its core is the IBOR (Investment Book of Record), which provides a single source of truth across the investment lifecycle and was named Best IBOR Platform by WatersTechnology. Following the November 2023 merger with Axioma, risk management and portfolio construction tools are embedded natively within the platform. Technical work spans unified data architecture, investment operations technology, risk software and portfolio construction.
The company employs more than 3,500 people across 30 international offices and six global delivery centers, with more than 50 years of continuous development behind its products. Its technology has also been recognised by the Data Management Insight Awards and the FTF News Technology Innovation Awards.
