Saronic Technologies

Saronic Technologies is a defense technology company founded in 2022 and headquartered in Austin, Texas. It designs and manufactures autonomous surface vessels at scale and works on integrating autonomous systems into traditional naval fleets, serving customers including the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps.

The company builds unmanned boats that it designs and manufactures itself, together with a fully in-house software stack. The vessels are intended to operate as part of a hybrid fleet, extending reach while reducing risk to human life. According to the Secretary of the Navy, Saronic went from prototype to production in under a year.

Saronic's technical work spans autonomous surface vessels, autonomous and unmanned maritime systems, full-stack software development, in-house vessel design and manufacturing, and naval systems integration. It controls the entire technology stack, from hull to software.

The company was founded by a team of military veterans and technologists. Its stated mission is to "protect our way of life", with an emphasis on reducing risk to human life and on solving problems for the end users who depend on the products.
