RTX Corporation

RTX Corporation is a global aerospace and defense company whose work spans commercial, military and government customers. It designs and manufactures aircraft engines, avionics and aerostructures, as well as guided missile systems, air defence systems, satellites, drones and cybersecurity solutions. Its stated mission is to produce "breakthroughs that protect and connect – from seabed to space", with an emphasis on innovation addressing what it describes as the world's toughest challenges.

The company employs more than 185,000 people and operates worldwide. Its corporate roots date back to 1922; the present group was formed in 2020 through the merger of Raytheon Company and United Technologies Corporation, and adopted the name RTX Corporation in 2023.
