Quality Management Associates

Quality Management Associates, Inc. (QMA) is a nonprofit organisation founded in 1987 that provides community support services for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Headquartered in Palmyra, New Jersey, it has operated for more than 35 years and serves five New Jersey counties - Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Salem and Atlantic - as well as Delaware.

Its work spans six service areas: community living programmes providing residential and community-based support; vocational training and supported employment, through which individuals build job skills and find work; structured day supports; clinical and therapeutic programmes; professional training services for practitioners in disability support; and support coordination, which aligns the services an individual receives.

The organisation describes its approach as person-centred, with an emphasis on treating each individual with dignity and respect, fostering independence and personal support networks, and promoting inclusion in the community of each person's choosing. As a mission-driven nonprofit, its stated focus is on the growth and development of the people it serves as unique individuals.
