Nuvei is a payments and fintech company founded in 2003 by Philip Fayer and headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. It provides a modular platform through which businesses accept and process payments worldwide via a single integration, covering card acceptance, more than 700 alternative payment methods, cryptocurrency and digital asset payments, bank transfers and real-time payments. The company employs over 2,400 professionals and serves merchants in more than 200 markets.

The platform spans the full payment lifecycle. Pay-ins and payouts, global and local acquiring (with local acquiring in 50 countries), fraud and risk management, currency management and reconciliation across 150 currencies, and card issuing and banking services are all delivered as part of the same product suite. Nuvei grew in part through strategic acquisitions and integrations, including the rebranding of Pivotal Payments and the integration of SafeCharge.
