Neya Systems
Neya Systems, a subsidiary of Applied Research Associates, develops autonomous systems and off-road autonomy for defense, mining, construction and security.
Neya Systems develops advanced autonomous systems for complex, off-road environments. A wholly owned subsidiary of Applied Research Associates (ARA), the company builds autonomy solutions for mission-critical applications, drawing on work at the intersection of robotics and real-world deployment. Its systems are applied across the defense, mining, construction and security industries.
Engineering work spans robotics, autonomy algorithms, sensors and perception, and software, electrical, mechanical and systems engineering. Staff hold more than 500 combined years of engineering experience. Engineers work directly with robotic platforms, sensors and autonomy algorithms in both laboratory and field settings, and may travel to see systems deployed in operational scenarios.
The company describes a culture built on hands-on problem solving and cross-disciplinary collaboration between software, electrical, mechanical and systems teams. It emphasises technical excellence and creative thinking, encouraging engineers to tackle complex problems independently while working across teams.
