MITY
MITY designs and manufactures commercial furniture across the MityLite, Holsag, Bertolini and Broda brands, with facilities in the Western United States and Eastern Canada.
MITY designs and manufactures commercial furniture - tables, chairs, stages, seating and mobility products - across four brands: MityLite, Holsag, Bertolini and Broda. The company serves commercial and institutional customers in sectors including hospitality, education, worship, healthcare, government and public assembly. It has operated since 1987, when founder Gregory Wilson introduced a folding table design that was lighter than competing products yet highly durable; the MityLite line has since expanded to include portable tables, stages, outdoor furnishings and carts.
The MITY holding company was organised in 2000 around MityLite and Broda, following the 1998 acquisition of Broda Seating, which added specialised mobility and tilt-in-space seating to the portfolio. Holsag and Bertolini contribute commercial and church seating respectively. Manufacturing is being consolidated, with Bertolini and Holsag production transitioning into MityLite's Utah operations. The company maintains manufacturing facilities and offices across the Western United States and Eastern Canada, and has grown through product innovation, public ownership and acquisitions.
Engineering work spans furniture design, lightweight high-strength folding table construction and ergonomic specialised seating, carried out by in-house design teams alongside customer service and customisation capabilities. The firm emphasises durable products built for demanding commercial environments, responsible sourcing and the expansion of North American production. MITY is led by chief executive Kevin McCoy.
